I am Chandra Premaratne. I obtained my primary medical degree, Master in Surgery, and higher surgical training in Sri Lanka. I worked as a Consultant General Surgeon in Sri Lanka before migrating to Australia about 20 years ago.
Part of my higher surgical training took place in Western Australia. I also achieved fellowship status from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
After practicing in Victoria for several years, my family and I migrated to Mandurah in 2011. My wife is a General Practitioner working in Mandurah. We have two children.
